Hi, my name is August. I’m an artist, writer, and musician from New Haven, Connecticut. I wrote a drawing book, and I’ve also written for The New York Times, The Guardian, The Free Press, and more. I was the recipient of a 2024 MacDowell fellowship.

I run Archaic Magazine and co-founded Loose Tooth, a small press.

I write a regular newsletter on Substack.

I have two books forthcoming from Vintage: a novel and a technocritical manifesto. I’m represented by CAA.
